Hi there!
As a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide therapy to individuals within their environment. Wellness and development should consider the whole individual, including how their surroundings affect them. After all, we don't exist in a bubble do we? I love to connect with individuals and families in their time of need.
During sessions, I will empower you with valuable tools to reduce symptoms and experience serenity. I will draw from my eclectic skill box of various frameworks and strategies. Some of these include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Behavioral Interventions, Parenting Skills, and Mindfulness between others. I specialize in treating anxiety and am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). I like to build treatment plans that are reflective of your particular needs. As we are all different, my treatment approaches will reflect this.
I received my Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I am additionally certified in treating clinical anxiety, certified in treating trauma, and am a clinical supervisor for therapists. I work with individuals and families who struggle with mental, emotional, and developmental concerns. I have gained this experience by providing individual, family, and group therapy. My experience includes DCP&P, Psychiatric hospital, In-home services, and life! My approach has been shaped by my academic training, professional training, and life experience.
Also chances are, I understand where you are through my own life experiences (directly or vicariously through others around me). If you are looking for someone who is relatable through real life experience, understanding, and empowering, I may be the therapist for you.
I hope we can connect and begin our work together!

Greetings! I am a firm believer that everyone can benefit from therapy. Having a trusted, un-biased individual to listen and assist you in working though any challenges you might face can be just what is needed to find balance and peace in your life. Life is filled with difficulties and it can be overwhelming trying to process feelings while balancing all that life can throw at us. A therapist can assist you in coping with whatever obstacles stand in the way of living your best life.
I could be the therapist to help you overcome challenges or to simply be a sounding board helping you explore, plan, and achieve your goals. I possess a great deal of empathy and life experience which have made me a compassionate, objective, and relatable therapist.
I am a Licensed Social Worker and received my Master’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. I have experience working with individuals, children, and families and specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, substance use disorders, grief and loss, women’s issues, autism spectrum disorders, behavior issues, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
I utilize a strengths-based focus, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness techniques to meet you where you are at to help you achieve your goals.
Are you feeling stuck? Do you often feel as if there is something keeping you from moving forward? Working through these thoughts and feelings at times can be scary and confusing as we often do not know where to start. My education includes a Master's degree as well as licenses as an LAC and CADC. I treat anxiety, depression, issues related to addiction, as well as various life changes. I have worked with children, adolescents, teens, and adults in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, inpatient facilities, and non-profit social service agencies.
I use a client-centered approach incorporating creative interventions and evidence-based strategies such as art therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy).
It takes courage to make the right steps to change and have a happier and more fulfilled life. Therapy can create a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space to initiate this change. If you are ready to take these steps, I may be the right therapist for you.
